Research Paper about Climate Migration

Director and Cofounder Sanjoli Gupta conducted research about climate migration. She analyzed the effects of climate change (specifically arable land and maximum temperature) on regional migration using time series regression and linear multivariate regression. Her research was published in the Curiex Academic Journal, on page 178 of Part 1 of the October Issue.

Lange’s Metalmark Butterfly Children’s Book

Director and Cofounder Sanjoli Gupta wrote this children’s book about the endangered species of Lange’s Metalmark butterfly which is only found in the Antioch Dunes in California to raise awareness about the species and help younger children learn about endangered species in a fun, digestible way. Heat Map

Director and Cofounder Sanjoli Gupta designed a heat map to demonstrate the extreme temperature changes that come with climate change. The impact of climate change is shown on Pakistan, Brazil and Somalia, three countries with different economic standings on different continents.

Rani Sam’s Jewelry

Director and Cofounder Sanjoli Gupta and Rani Khanna came together to start this non profit where they sell hand made jewelry to raise funds for the Santa Cruz Disaster Fund which helps with various climate migration disasters in their local community, such as the flooding in Pájaro.

Photography and Human Rights

Director and Cofounder Sanjoli Gupta connected her passion for photography with social change and wrote these blog posts about the impact of photography in the past and it’s role in the Climate Change movement and equal representation.

Women’s Rights in Shaping the American National Identity

Cofounder and President Sanjoli Gupta designed a display about women’s role in shaping the American National Identity in the late 1800s and early 1900s on Canva for AP US History along with Maren Hofman and Kayla Jung. They explored working women, African American women, queer women, the suffrage movement, industrialization and the labor movement as well as the pushback against women’s rights.
